Obama thought Clinton's handling of email serve was political malpractice: book

Though she focused her pushback on the nature of her remarks-How should she frame the election of Donald Trump?

Two-time failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton spied on her own campaign staff's emails after her first loss in 2008 to Barack Obama.

The book is touted as a blow-by-blow account of Mrs Clinton's campaign, written with "deep access to insiders from the top to the bottom" of the campaign effort.

The book also delves into how Clinton conceded on Election Night, reporting that there was some unintended delay in her making the call to Trump. Instead, Hillary Clinton looked out to a group of grief-stricken aides and tearful supporters, as she acknowledged her stunning loss of the presidency to Donald Trump.

She told Trump that she was committed to country's success and "that means your success as president".

"But mostly", the authors write, "she was mad - mad that she'd lost and that the country would have to endure a Trump presidency".

News first broke of the Cowboys opener when WFAN radio host Mike Francesa read the Giants schedule aloud on the air. The latter, at the Philadelphia Eagles , would likely be moved to a later time if it has playoff implications.

Among the campaign's difficulties was dissention between top aides and the dismissal of former President Bill Clinton's advice, she said.

After a slightly prolonged hesitation, Clinton took Obama's advise and called Trump to concede defeat. Hillary Clinton, and the ideology she represents, went down to defeat in 2016 based on the judgment of the voters.

"It's the president", Abedin said.

Beyond outside factors like Russia's potential interference and James Comey's letter to Congress, the book indicates that the Clinton campaign crippled itself by through a combination of unenforced errors, cockiness, and ignoring critical warning signs.

"Mr. President, I'm sorry", Clinton reportedly told him, feeling that she had let him down. But it's important to distinguish between problems that are particular to Clinton (such as her email scandal and lack of charisma) and problems that are generic to the Democratic Party (its increasing inability to win rural and white working class voters).

Biden would later say that he regretted not running against Clinton.

Marco Asensio then grabbed a fourth on the night for Madrid as 10-man Bayern began to wilt and their European dream died. They turned up at the Bernabéu having lost 1-2 in the first leg and still managed to force extra-time.

The move came after Clinton's team received a call at around 7:45pm from vote-counter Steve Schale, who told them "you're going to come up short".

Okay, I realize that people who have been watching Rachel Maddow and other MSNBC programs - as well as reading The New York Times and The Washington Post for the past four months - "know" that Clinton ran a brilliant campaign that was only derailed because of "Russian meddling".

According to the book, after the results for the key swing states were announced, Obama argued that there was no point "prolonging the inevitable" by calling for recounts.

Favreau came on board, he was paired with longtime Clinton speechwriter Lissa Muscatine to put some extra punch into the speech, by then scheduled for June 13.

Then, there was another call from Obama.

"For both sides, Hillary was the ideal symbol of everything that was wrong with America", the book states, in an extract carried by NPR.
