'Call of Duty: WWII' Features a Zombie Nazi Storyline

Call of Duty: WWII has been officially announced as of last Friday, and now we've been provided with some more details about what's coming, including campaign, multiplayer, and more.

Sledgehammer Games Co-Founder and Studio Head Glen Schofield noted the developers "want to respect this great generation of soldiers, tell a realistic story set in a true inflection point in human history, and deliver the best experience of our careers". The new title will do the same, this time enlisting the player in the 1st Infantry Division as Allied forces take the beach at Normandy, then move across France toward Berlin.

Bristling with cannon and armaments, the Rock commanded control of the Strait of Gibraltar, a critical maritime chokepoint vital to the war effort.

Call of Duty fans, here is something for you today.

Most of the details that leaked days before the official reveal were later confirmed, including the release date, single-player story details, and beta. The game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and will be a return to Call of Duty's WWII roots. If you're eager to dive back into the trenches of World War II, here's what you need to know about Call of Duty: WWII before it arrives on November 3 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The first in-game screenshots for the next Call of Duty game have been leaked online. The marketing material, leaked via Call of Duty blog Charlie Intel, mentioned access to a private beta granted to players that preorder the game.

COD: WWII will also carry with it a new stab at the Nazi Zombies co-op mode that began as an oddball fan-favorite but has quickly become a staple of the series.

Mike Gillislee headed to Patriots after Bills decline to match RFA offer
The Giants seem like a good possibility as they need a running back and Adrian Peterson seems likely to sign with the Saints. Had the Patriots not been able to acquire Gillislee, the team would have been in the market to draft a running back.

Call of Duty: WWII sees the series go back to basics after years of futuristic installments that let players run on walls, use jetpacks and even fight as killer robot dogs.

Multiplayer introduces a new War Mode, which places you in "iconic World War II battles" with objective-focused, Axis-versus-Allies team gameplay.

Yet outside of historical immersion, Sledgehammer wasn't going to pass up the chance to bring back those dastardly Nazi Zombies as part of a new co-operative mode complete with a standalone storyline.
