More than 1300 arrests made in ICE anti-gang operation

According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, 1,378 were arrested across the US, the largest gang surge conducted by Homeland Security Investigations.

The arrests were part of a six-week initiative, from March 26 to May 6, led by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations unit, which focuses on combating gangs and other criminal activity in the United States and overseas.

Houston, New York, Atlanta and Newark, New Jersey were among the hardest hit areas, and among those arrested were three of Barack Obama's "dreamers" protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

All the individuals arrested had federal or state criminal charges, including drug trafficking, human smuggling, sex trafficking, murder and racketeering, according to the release.

In the next over, Martin Guptill fell to Narine as the batsman missed the delivery while trying to sweep over backward square leg. In the sixteenth over, Maxwell hit the wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav for consecutive sixes, but was then outfoxed by the bowler.

Twenty Michigan people from Flint and Detroit involved in seven different gangs were arrested as part of a six-week gang investigation that nabbed more than 1,000 suspects across the nation.

"These violent criminal street gangs are the biggest threat facing our communities", said ICE Acting Director Thomas Homan during a press briefing Thursday.

HSI special agents, working in conjunction with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, have made more than 47,000 gang-related arrests. DHS said Ramirez admitted gang ties, but his lawyers strongly deny that claim. The remaining 280 were arrested on immigration violations, they said.

Most recently, Breitbart Texas reported on the continued resettlement of foreign unaccompanied minors into MS-13-prone regions of the USA, despite experts pointing to evidence that this process allows foreign crime syndicates to flourish.

Agents seized $491,763 in US currency, more than 200 firearms, and such narcotics as cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl and marijuana.

Of the 1,378 arrested, 933 were USA citizens and 445 were foreign nationals from more than two dozen countries. Unfortunately for Trump, more than two-thirds of those arrests won't be deported. Gang affiliation and criminal activity is considered a reason to lose DACA protections.
