House intel Dem would review Kushner's clearance

Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on Sunday praised President Donald Trump for his first global trip.

The administration had hoped Trump's nine-day turn in the global spotlight would offer a respite from relentless coverage - marked by an endless barrage of explosive revelations - of an ever-widening probe into Russian meddling in last year's election and possible collusion by the Trump campaign.

Paul Manafort - Trump's former campaign manager who secretly promoted Putin's interests.

Kushner had proposed the back channel during a meeting with the Russian ambassador to the US, Sergey Kislyak, last December - before he was given his official role as assistant to the president and senior adviser.

After months of developments, testimonies and dramatic headlines about Russia's involvement in the United States presidential election, the formal investigation revealed how some members of Trump's team were in contact with Russian officials, each one of them on a daily basis.

Reuters has reported that Mr Kushner had at least three previously undisclosed contacts with Mr Kislyak past year, including two phone calls between April and November.

Authorities are keeping an " open mind " as the " fast-moving " investigation continues, the police added. May also said "we have a special relationship with the USA".

Democrats and critics of Mr Trump have seized on the revelations and said they are more evidence that the NY tycoon was trampling on democratic traditions.

'There is another question about his security clearance and whether he was forthcoming about his contacts on that, ' Schiff said during an interview with ABC's This Week on Sunday morning. While some have described Kushner's alleged behavior as "espionage", the man responsible for America's national security minimized the seriousness of this behavior.

Schiff said the government needed to "get to the bottom" of the matter and urged a review of Kushner's security clearance "to find out whether he was truthful".

I know H.R. McMaster, the president's national security adviser, said he was not concerned about back channel communications.

Mr Kushner, through his lawyer, has offered to cooperate with such investigations but has otherwise maintained a low profile since returning from the President's trip several days early. Raddatz said Kislyak must know "he's being monitored all the time" and asked Schiff if it was possible the Russians wanted US intelligence to hear what the Russian ambassador said about Kushner.

"The authority now for the two leaders means they can require and compel legally more information from other people, and you're starting to see that even though there was a sense of, "Oh, we have time; we're trying to do this right" just a few weeks ago, as everything else kicks into high gear, you're going to see some kicking into high gear on Capitol Hill, too". I mean, multiple ways to communicate back and forth is a good thing with any country, I think, and particularly a country like Russian Federation, so it doesn't bother me.

It was the same story in the league this season and Aberdeen also lost the League Cup final to Brendan Rodgers' side. Celtic completed a domestic treble after Tom Rogic scored a stoppage-time victor in a 2-1 win at Hampden Park.

"We're chasing our tails, as a nation, when it comes to the Russians".

The latest reports says Trump adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner proposed a secret back channel between the Kremlin and the Trump transition team.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, in an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press", said he would not confirm the stories about Kushner's conversations, but added that he was "very concerned" about reports of the Trump administration approaching Russian Federation "from a theoretical standpoint".
