British police rush to London Bridge after reports of van hitting pedestrians

British police are responding to three incidents across London following reports of a vehicle slamming into pedestrians on the London Bridge.

The incidents come less than two weeks after a suicide bomber killed 22 people at a concert by American singer Ariana Grande in Manchester on 22 May, in what was the deadliest terrorist attack on British soil since the July 7 bombings in London.

The witness, who was doing a night photography class on London Bridge, said he saw the van veering on and off the pavement on the bridge.

Police have confirmed they are responding to three separate incidents along the Thames River.

A reporter from Reuters reported that she saw 10 police cars rushing towards the London Bridge.

BBC reports more than one person has been killed.

The Telegraph has published reports of shots fired near The Shrad on Southwark Street, and have further reported that police on the scene told everyone to "run".

Police also are reporting a potential incident in the Vauxhall area of southwest London.

Multiple news agencies have confirmed reports of knife-wielding attackers at nearby Borough Market thereafter, but authorities have not released detailed information about the alleged incident.

The injured were taken to six hospitals, while other people were treated at the scene, London Ambulance Service Assistant Director of Operations Peter Rhodes said.

"I was walking out of the London Bridge station and there were police", Caroline Breniere said.

All three went "randomly along Borough High Street stabbing people at random", he said, adding that he witnessed a young girl being stabbed in the chest.

Trump also used the incident to promote his proposed travel ban, which has been blocked by federal courts.

"He swerved right around me", Jones said, "and then hit about five or six people".

Husband and wife Ben and Natalie told BBC Radio 5 Live they were outside Borough Market when they witnessed the incident there.

On March 22, the British Parliament building was attacked by a man who ran over pedestrians with a auto and then stabbed several people.
