WWDC 2017: Apple announces a slew of new products, options

Nearly lost in the landslide of product announcements at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference keynote was the reveal the MacBook Pro received an important update: The new laptops have the same design as the previous version, but the laptops feature new processors that should provide a speed boost.

There's also updates to the "standard" iMac range. The 21.5-inch model now can be configured up to 32GB of RAM, while the 27-inch goes up to 64GB, twice what had previously been offered. They will support up to one billion colors. The new thermal design will also allow for up to 80 percent more cooling capacity while up to 4 terabytes of SSD storage keeps the machine running smoothly and quietly.
