Iran's Zarif Continues Discussions on Mutual, Regional Issues in Norway

At an Arab Islamic American Summit in Riyadh last month, U.S. President Donald Trump accused Iran of fueling "the fires of sectarian conflict and terror" and called for its global isolation.

He reportedly told high-ranking Iranian officials the the U.S. and its "agents are the source of instability in the Middle East... who created Islamic State?"

For one, his son Eric Trump has said the president would continue to receive regular updates about his company's financial health. The litigation is similar to a case filed this year by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics, a Washington watchdog group.

Terrorists carried out an attack on Iran's Parliament (Majlis) and Ayatollah Khomeini's mausoleum in Tehran on Wednesday, killing at least a dozen people. After the terrorist attacks, Trump blamed Iran for the incident, arguing that the countries which sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote.

His comments come after a top Iranian general claimed the Islamic Republic had evidence the USA was directly supporting the group. Trump's choice of Saudi Arabia, Iran's bitter regional rival, for his first official foreign visit reflects the deep antagonism of his administration towards Iran.

"America is a terrorist country and backs terrorism... therefore, we can not normalize ties with such a country", Khamenei said.

Iran repeated accusations that Saudi Arabia funds Islamic militants including Islamic State.
