Trump dictated son's statement on Russian Federation talks

President Donald Trump "certainly didn't dictate" a statement for his eldest son to release about a campaign meeting with a Russian lawyer past year, but "he weighed in and offered suggestions, like any father would do", the White House said Tuesday.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Monday, "I believe he was making a joke at the time".

That statement did not mention that Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., had been offered compromising information about Hillary Clinton in exchange for taking the meeting, or that the lawyer had been accompanied by a Russian-American lobbyist named Rinat Akhmetshin.

President Trump personally dictated his son's response statement, according to a Washington Post report.

Ireland bids to host two major UK-based European Union agencies after Brexit
Around 20 cities, including Dublin, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Paris, and Prague, are understood to be keen to host the agencies. Only Hungary, Slovenia, Cyprus and the three Baltic states of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia decided not to join the fray.

The Trump Tower meeting has proved to be one of the most toxic pieces of information to emerge so far in the billowing investigation into possible ties between Trump associates and Russian Federation in the Kremlin's efforts to skew the presidential outcome in favor of the Republican nominee.

The Post described the president's role in the statement as part of "a series of actions that Trump has taken that some advisers fear could place him and some members of his inner circle in legal jeopardy". But within 24 hours, highly damaging revelations had emerged that made clear the meeting had been much more charged than that.

While Trump and his lawyers refused to provide the Post with a comment, Trump Jr.'s lawyer, Alan Futerfas, told the Post that he and his client "were fully prepared and absolutely prepared to make a fulsome statement" about the meeting.

But shortly after that first report, it was shown the initial statement was misleading.

Charlie's parents have, however, received support from Pope Francis, U.S. Many of these messages are menacing, including death threats.

"It was... unnecessary", said the Post, an advisor to president on condition of anonymity. The new report revealed Trump "personally dictated" the contents of that statement.

Trump reportedly decided that his son should tell the media that the issue of Russian adoption was discussed at the meeting, rather than any campaign issues. Air Force One took off from Germany shortly after 6 p.m., about noon in Washington. "Now someone can claim he's the one who attempted to mislead".

Officials say the timetable laid out for reform is aggressive, and hinted the White House might prefer steeper tax cuts even if they're only temporary. I asked Jared and Paul to stop by.

It still remains quite unlikely that Trump will get impeached.
