Film critic Alan Zilberman called the clip "so nakedly fascist that alt-righters will have an erection before the trailer ends". That movie was set in New York City, and it starred the reliable action hero Charles Bronson, known for playing stoic, tough-as-nails killers in The Dirty Dozen and Once Upon a Time in the West.

Now, director and noted Masshole Eli Roth and the significantly-more-talented-yet-somehow-only-writing the-screenplay-here Joe Carnahan (The Grey) have chose to give the franchise a make-over, and he's tapped our generation's Charles Bronson, Bruce Willis, to star - not because Bronson ever approached Willis' levels of talent, but because both of them have been in enough "fuck it, I'm getting paid" roles to buy a few private islands.

Eli Roth directs the MGM reimagining of the classic 1974 thriller.

Can Willis recapture his former cinematic glory, and do justice to the character of loving family man turned merciless vigilante Paul Kersey?

There's plenty of that in his new film "Death Wish". Directed by Eli Roth and produced by Sylvester Stallone and starring Bruce Willis the film takes numerous cues of the original film with a man taking justice into his own hands. The remake co-stars Vincent D'Onofrio, Dean Norris, Kimberly Elise, and Mike Epps.

The forces took up position about 5 miles away to wait for reinforcements to launch a counterattack, the AP said. Forces Afghanistan said it was not present in either of the two districts that recently fell to the Taliban.

While very similar, Roth's Death Wish dodges the label of simply being a remake of the original by changing up some key details.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on November 22nd, 2017.
