Tropical storm Gert has formed in Atlantic Ocean, NWS says

The track of the storm takes it between Hatteras and Bermuda on Tuesday, keeping it off the Carolina coastline by approx.

Tropical Depression Eight has formed in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The U.S. based National Hurricane Center said, "Maximum sustained winds are near 35 miles per hour [55 km/h] with higher gusts".
